For the price I paid, I got great value with the private curtains on the beds and friendly staff. The location was perfect, right by Sagrada Familia, and the staff were great too help me out.

I recently stayed at The Loft Hostel for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. As a solo traveler, I was initially hesitant about staying in a hostel, but I had a great experience. I stayed in a clean and quiet female 6 bed dorm, complete with blackout curtains for privacy and a convenient mini lamp and socket by the bed. The storage under the bunk beds was spacious, although you should bring your own padlock. The showers were regularly cleaned and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hostel's location near Avenue Diagonal and the metro made it easy to explore the city.
